- How do you decide between refactoring, rebuilding and replacing a legacy system?
- A paid modernization assessment establishes the current architecture, data, integrations, risk and business objective. From that evidence we recommend what to retain, refactor, rebuild or replace, and sequence the transition into independently valuable releases rather than one large cut-over.
- What does the 45-working-day delivery commitment actually cover?
- For qualified scopes we deliver the agreed production release within 45 working days — fixed scope, fixed price and engineered for handover. Qualification requires a bounded application, workflow or independently deployable release, agreed architecture and acceptance criteria, assessable integrations and data migration, representative data and environments ready before day one, and a named client owner who can decide within one working day.
- Is the work fixed price or time and materials?
- Assessments, roadmaps and architecture reviews are fixed fee. Defined software delivery is fixed scope and fixed price against acceptance criteria. Larger transformations run as successive fixed-scope phases, and sustained delivery capability can run as a managed team on a monthly fee.
- Can you take over a stalled or AI-built application?
- Yes. Production recovery is part of this service line. We assess the code, architecture, data and security position, stabilize what is viable, and prepare a controlled path to a production release with tests, monitoring and documentation in place.
- What do we own at the end of the engagement?
- Everything needed to run and evolve the system without us: the repository, architecture decision records, tests, runbook, access map, documentation and training. Ownership transfer is part of the definition of done, not an optional extra.
