Cookie Policy
This policy explains how RITE NRG uses cookies and comparable technologies on ritenrg.com, how you can make a choice, and how you can later change it.

2. What “Cookies” and Similar Technologies Mean
A cookie is a small data file that a website stores in a browser or device. The rules described here also apply to comparable operations that store information on, or access information from, your device — for example local storage, pixels, tags, SDKs and certain embedded content. Some technologies are first-party, which means they are set for the RITE NRG website. Others are provided by a third party whose service is used on the website.
3. When We Ask for Permission
Under Articles 399 and 400 of the Polish Electronic Communications Law, clear prior information and consent are generally required before information is stored on or accessed from your device. A narrow exception applies where the operation is strictly necessary to transmit a communication or strictly necessary to provide a service you expressly requested.
Accordingly:
- Strictly necessary technologies may operate without optional consent, but are still disclosed.
- Preferences, analytics, external media and marketing technologies remain disabled unless you choose the relevant category.
- Closing the banner, continuing to browse, scrolling or inactivity is not treated as consent.

4. Categories

5. Technologies Currently Used
The live Cookie settings panel is the authoritative, current inventory. It displays, for each technology:
- Name and provider.
- Purpose and consent category.
- Whether it is first- or third-party.
- Information or identifier involved.
- When it activates.
- Whether it is a session or persistent technology and its maximum duration.
- Third-party access and relevant privacy information.
- Where applicable, a transfer outside the EEA and the transfer safeguard.
Open Cookie settings to view the inventory or change your choice.
6. Your Choices
On your first visit, you can:
- Reject optional technologies.
- Manage choices by category.
- Accept all optional technologies.
All optional categories default to off. Refusal does not prevent access to the core website or the ordinary contact route.
You can reopen Cookie settings from the footer on every page. Changing or withdrawing a choice is as easy as giving it. Withdrawal prevents future activation of the relevant technologies. We also remove RITE NRG-controlled optional identifiers where technically possible; you may need to clear third-party identifiers through your browser or the provider’s controls.
You can also block or delete cookies through browser or device settings. Browser controls may affect both necessary and optional technologies and may cause some requested features not to work.
7. Recording Your Choice
We store a strictly necessary consent-state record so the website can remember and respect your choice. We also retain a pseudonymous compliance record containing the choice, date and time, policy/banner version, language, purposes and vendors presented, and any later change or withdrawal. We avoid storing a full IP address solely for this purpose where it is not necessary.
The record is kept for as long as needed to respect the active choice and demonstrate compliance for the applicable limitation or regulatory period, then deleted or anonymized.
8. Third-Party Content
Third-party video, maps, booking tools, chat or social-media content remains blocked until the relevant permission is given. Before activation, we may display a locally hosted preview and explain which provider will receive information. An ordinary external link does not contact that service until you click it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy and the live inventory when the website or technologies change. The current date appears at the top. We request a new choice when purposes, vendors or consent information change materially.
