Starting situation
Metapro, a repeat client following the Coinswap project, wanted one platform that would let developers tokenize in-game assets as NFTs and let gamers own, use and trade those assets across games. Delivering it meant designing a private, decentralized storage architecture for game assets, lowering the entry barrier to Web3 with a custom non-custodial mobile wallet, equipping developers with an API and Unity SDK, and integrating blockchain, web, infrastructure and mobile work — all against an aggressive deadline set by a major gaming event.
What we advised
We opened with intensive product strategy workshops involving business developers, analysts, solutions architects, UX researchers, developers and designers from both sides. These converted the vision into specific goals, a roadmap, system architecture, tech stack, team composition, QA scope and budget, all aligned to MVP delivery for the Poznan Game Arena.
What we built or changed
A nine-person dedicated SCRUM team combined our in-house web, blockchain and infrastructure expertise, with a trusted mobile partner integrated and managed under our accountability. A SCRUM master ran the agile process and a dedicated product owner acted as the direct link to the client's CTO, freeing leadership from day-to-day delivery. The MVP included the marketplace, private decentralized storage, the API and Unity SDK, and a custom non-custodial iOS and Android wallet as the gateway into the ecosystem.
Architecture, data and integration
Blockchain and NFT infrastructure, private decentralized storage inspired by Filecoin, Microsoft .NET (C#), Solidity, TypeScript, Java, Python, Unity, React, Microsoft Azure, native iOS and Android apps, libp2p, and Binance Smart Chain, Polygon and Ethereum chains.
